Anyone know where I can buy a controllable LED strip?

I'm trying to find a LED strip about 1 meter long where I can get the LED's to chase. So going one by one left to right and the back right to left and so on.

I've been search the internet for the last hour and all I can find are types that all light up at once but you can change the colours, or the lighting type that all light up white for lighting.

Anyone know if what I'm search for exists and if it does who might sell it?

Thanks...

Thanks, but as far as I can tell they only chase one way. I need it to go to the end and then come back down the line, not go the end and then restart..

Well at least you've acknowledged, maybe someone will pick up on it soon. I wonder, maybe if you say what you're wanting them for exactly?.

It's to make a device for EMDR. It's a treatment for trauma. It's possible to buy a ready made unit, but it's $400!!!
25 years ago I made things for FX's in movies that would do almost this (a 555 timer chip and a second chip I can't remember) and the the bits are around a fiver. So $400 is a total rip off...

The lights linked have 133 programs, fairly sure one traces backwards and forwards.

Seen reviews of some on youtube and they do the knightrider effect as some call them.

I did think of that, but the point of the unit is for the eye to trace the same route back and forth with no distractions.
If worse comes to worse I'll try to mock up the units I used to make and stick a lens over each led and will use 2 sets. Just can't remember what the second chip was that drove the leds. . .

If you can do a bit of basic soldering and programming, an Arduino or ATtiny85 processor can control a Neopixel strip, which is readily available:
