What happens to refund if voucher is used?

Hi all,


I bought 2 SIM free phones from Tesco on Ebay. Anyway only problem is it doesn't work on my network and to cut a long story short it is because it is 3 (which only works on 3g phones) and the phone I bought was 2g.


They've said they will refund me. Now my only question / issue is that I used a paypal/ebay voucher which gave me a discount of 50% when I spent £20.


I've asked Tesco and they say the refund will be via the original method, they can't issue a credit voucher to spend with them again.


So not sure what to do? Anyone had this before where they get refunded after using a voucher and what happens?

It is unusual for any discount voucher to be refunded or replaced, however just check your original voucher offer to see what the terms on it are.
