If I apply to my bank for their own Credit card are the checks, financial etc independently done or are they carried out internally, if internal wouldn't they use information they already have on you to base their decisions, eg I don't have any long standing current accounts due to switches however I've been with Halifax just over a year but empty my account every month sending money to Marcus, nationwide, first direct, Santander, etc to fill my regular savers, wouldn't they use this information and guess I have savings elswhere, I ask because when i first joined Halifax they wouldn't even give me an overdraft facility now i have an unused 1k, i applied for the clarity card last year and was declined now they offered me the same card with a 7k limit0
