Can my credit card company chage me 3 X £12 charges on one stalement they were 1 for unpaid direct debit 1 for late fee and 1 for going over my limit does anyone know the answer thanks

If all of those events happened then the answer is yes.

You could try to call them and ask for a refund if this is the first time you've been charged, failing that you could try to reclaim them if you feel it's worth it for £36.

On a practical note you could set up a direct debit for the future to stop it happening again.

I think UNDERGROUND meant an overdraft facility on your current account so that direct debits will be more likely to be allowed to go through?

Somehow I feel that the unpaid direct debit and late fee go hand-in-hand in cases of missed direct debits - this is what I personally don't agree on.

However, no harm of course in trying to reclaim all the 3 charges. Good luck!

I did have it on direct debit however the bank charged me £38 for not paying
as i was over my limit on my current account and Virgin Credit card charged me the 3 X £12 charges on one credit stalement they were 1 for unpaid direct debit 1 for late fee and 1 for going over my limit on the credit card

I suggest you go to the Debt free wannabe board.
You desperately need to make some savings to repay your debts or these charges will spiral out of control.
