Closing balance bill

Hi, I have a closing balance bill of £315 from Solarplicity. I have a smart meter (I don't actually have the little screen gadget plugged in but I'm guessing the actual meter sends the readings to the company, or do I have to have the screen plugged in at all times?) My bills each month nearly always say I'm in credit and i get hit with that bill at the end! What does it mean? Are they right?

Look at your past bills - does the bottom line show Credit or Debits ? This sounds like your DD has not been big enough to meet the monthly charges.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill
