Electrolux EOB3400AOX not working

Hi all



I have an Electrolux single fan oven (4 years old) and neither the oven or grill are heating up. The fan doesnt work or the light inside or by the knobs either.

I have replaced the heating element & the main thermostat. Still nothing.
I would be grateful if anyone had any ideas??

Does anything work? Display for example. If nothing then check fuse or circuit breaker, if the display works then check the manual for fault finding help.

Hi yes the display works but that is all so I’m guessing the fuse must be working else the display/clock wouldn’t come on 🤷!♀️

Any chance the display is battery powered and the fuse has gone? If not, I fear that you'll need someone to come out and look at the connections. Many years ago I had a dead oven which tripped its fuse and the fault was traced to a loose neutral connection in the wiring block which had arced and burned out the plastic housing. A new block was obtained online and the oven has been fine ever since.

Hi pretty sure it’s not battery powered... also there aren’t any wires etc that are burnt out inside the control unit part. I know there’s some other cut off thermostat and wonder if it could be that one. Thank you very much for your help though 🙏

Some ovens I believe have a thermal fuse, if the outside of the oven gets too hot it melts. I'm not an oven person though so I can't be more specific.
