Bulb- money randomly credited to balance

Hi just checked my bulb app,and all of my previous direct debits payments for last year have randonly been credited back to me under a "bill correction". No idea why, am i missing something?

    Did you switch to Bulb last year? Is it possible that the switch didn't complete successfully?

    Yes switiched last year. So possibly. Pretty sure it switched though as even got cashback from topcashback for switching. But old energy company has not billed me either?

    Bulb provide statements and update the account monthly either by using the meter readings they ask you for or using estimates if you do not supply them.
    So have you had these statements and is your account massively in debit due to these DD refunds?

    Sounds like they messed up in the past with your billing, found it before you did, and have corrected it in the hope you won't complain.

    If they've credited back all your previous bills then that means they believed there was a mistake with them.

    You should then be sent the new corrected bill that they believe is right for this period. If they haven't sent this it means they are still viewing it or they have an issue they need to solve

    Thanks thomas. That makes sense. As of yet they havnt sent a corrected bill.
