Can anyone explain to me how Amazon have got to the posiiton they have, when everytime I go to buy something I can always find it significantly cheaper elsewhere. This is particularly galling as I have a number of Amazon vouchers but do not really want to pay extra just to use them
Depends what you are buying.
Most electricals are near enough the cheapest and Books are as well. The trick is to put them into your basket and then watch them over a few days/weeks s the prices change regularly.
The other biggy with Amazon it relability and Customer Service, I recently bought an ipod Touch - cheapest on the market for the 32gb one. Got it home and realised it didnt charge in any of my home Docks so after 2 weeks filled in the returns form and sent it back - my card was refunded within 2 days of me posting it and they even paid me £5.40 to cover my postage. I doubt i would have had similar customer service from a smaller company or from currys etc.0 -
