Free garden design software?

Hi all,
I've spent days searching online for a free garden design software, I can't seem to find one that isn't geared towards house design (so doesn't have much scope for garden building materials, and quite complicated to use) or the one I did start to use - Gardena, is very basic, is frustrating to use with limited materials library.
So has anyone found a good free one to use?
Many thanks

Might be worth posting on Techie board.0

No. I have looked and wanted for years. There are several programs around on garden design, all fronted by TV star gardeners from the 90's.... they are all based on the same American! model, and it's useless! I will try and find an eBay link, if one exists at the moment.
There are a couple of professional packets, but they come in high three digit costs. As far as I have found, using general draw tools is about as good as you can do. At least some of those allow you a 3D view at any angle you choose.0
