car finance taking forever

How long does all this take from you go down and sign all the documents??

Im becoming very annoyed with the company i am dealing with, as its always me phoning to get updates, they never call me back when they say they will to let me know how its all going.

I've been promised 2 days this week for it to go through and i am still waiting.

Well to add to my luck. I phoned them this morning, told it was going through today and someone would ring by 1pm, uh huh right i thought. 12.58pm someone rings to tell me its gone through and they've faxed my garage, i need to ring them to see when i can pick up the car.

Ring the garage, haven't got the fax yet, they tell me they will ring as soon as they get the fax to confirm funds have been sent and once they get the fax i can collect the car. 3.45pm,no phone call from garage, ring them, no they haven't got the fax yet.

Ring the finance company who say they have faxed it but the money takes 3 working days to clear, probably can get the car Wed.

Garage isn't bothered about that, they just need the fax that confirms the money has been sent and i can pick up the car.

Garage closed at 6:30pm and no phone call from them to say they got the fax. I'm struggling to believe if my finance company sent the fax at all. This happened last Monday when i signed the documents, they rang me at 1:30pm said they were faxing the documents through to the garage, give it 30mins and ring the garage. I decided not to as i live 30mins away anyway, so made the journey thinking by the time i get to them they'll have just got the fax. 2pm no documents, so ring the finance company from the garage, we'll fax it soon im told, it took more and more phone calls and 1 hr later until they faxed the documents, so i had to sit around in my car im part exchanging for 1 hr.

So now i am very angry. I have been looking forward to getting this car since Wed as thats when the finance company told me it would go through and every day since then when i ring, im told it will be the next day and its still happening. :mad: :rolleyes:
