    You're not owed anything.

You need to make a complaint to any lender you feel mis sold you a policy.

It's been in the news and all over this site. There is a deadline, you have to complain by then or your chance is gone. Note - complain, not have it resolved or whatever stage it's at, just complain

Takes 2 minutes to write to anyone you had accounts with to ask, most have forms on their site, then if you feel you were miss-sold you can complain and provide your reasons and evidence

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

It's the end of August, so you have four months to (potentially) make a complaint that will take a few hours of your time at most.

But did you actually have any PPI?

You'd have seen on your statements if you were paying PPI.
