Cheap energy club switch problems

Can anyone advise?
I started the switching process with MSE cheap energy Club a month ago - just prior to the hike in prices. The site advice is if there is no progress with the switch within a couple of weeks to contact by their email address who aim to reply within2 dats. Now 7 days and still no response from the cheap energy club. The new supplier still has no details of us and can’t offer the same deal. Apparently the switch can be cancelled by contacting the new supplier it as they don’t have record if the switch requested were stuck in the switch in progress phase. Anyone else had a similar experience or know of a telephone number so I can actually speak to someone?

I can advise that there have been a few people claim to have this issue - often new MSEers or those who have returned after a number of years posting hiatuis it would seem.
I can also confirm that the vast majority of users have received their cashback following a CEC switch with no issues (apart from the 3+ month wait as described in the terms)
Further I can confirm there is no telephone contact for the CEC.
You will have to persevere with the email contact. I can confirm that many people have received responses from that email address when they send an appropriate enquiry - but you may have to be patient as the CEC may possibly be awaiting a response from the supplier as to progress...
As long as you received the email confirmation from the CEC when you applied to switch, there is no good reason the supplier has not received your application.0 -
I am having problems with my switch to British Gas & have tried to contact CEC for help.3 emails,no reply apart from automated response.
Does anyone have contact details,British Gas no help & my switch will be complete in a few days.I am not getting the tariff I signed up for!0 -
I too have problems. I've been on "You currently have one switch in progress" since 26 October. Scottish power confirmed the switch took place on 18th November 2019. How do I get Cheap Energy Club to recognize this and pay the bonus?Problem solved. I t was due to a glitch affecting my account. The bonus was paid, but I failed to notice.
