I've cancelled my switch but it's still showing as 'in progress' on my account.

As above, the switch went ahead 12 months ago, however your site has not updated itself all I keep getting is "Switch in Progress", can someone please let me know how to get back to switching page as I have been sent an email from your system advising me that my account needs to switch again.

Why not just switch using one of the many alternative sites which I have always found much cheaper and more reliable than the CEC site?0

The OP is receiving email alerts from their CEC account saying they should switch again. Even if the Op were to switch outside of the CEC (such as to a low cost supplier that the CEC does not have an affiliation with, or using a different switching site as you suggest) the OP cannot update their CEC account as it shows "switch in progress"
Alerts will continue to be sent until the OP updates their CEC account, but the OP cannot do that.
Quentin has provided the OP with the details of how to resolve this.0 -
Surely the point is that the switch from 12 months ago has taken place and it's just a software glitch so a switch through Ukpower or uSwitch etc. would proceed without any problem?0

I just can't understand why people are so obsessed with using CEC when there are better alternatives around...
maybe it's designed for people who need 'spoonfeeding' ...
