Switching bank accounts - does this affect credit rating

Hi, in March of this year I switched an old Barclays account to first direct to get the switching bonus. I now see Natwest are doing a switch bonus too. The problem is that although I have other current accounts, I dont want to close any of them, so Im thinking of opening a new current account with one of my banks, then immediately switching it. My question is would this not be worth it if it would affect my credit rating (or have any other implications)? As I've only just recently opened the First Direct account.
Thanks
