Embassy Chippy Southport

Was in Southport on the Easter weekend. Whole town heaving what with the hot weather. At 1pm every food outlet was rammed with queues out into the street. We took a punt on the Embassy chippy. The place was clean and tidy, the staff were super busy but remained friendly and welcoming, we got a (clean) table straight away amid the comings and goings, we were served quickly and the prices were ok for the adult meals and just £3 for a child's meal.
The food itself was good, not the best I've had in Southport but tasty and freshly cooked nonetheless.
The service was the winner though. Amazing job. :T

Should leave a review on trust pilot and other review sites too.0 -
It's owned by Silcock's, who seem to own half of Southport, mainly arcades and funfairs, so it wouldn't have been my 1st choice, but it's always good to be pleasantly surprised!0

We often visit Southport, and enjoy going to the chippy at Fylde Road. Will have to try the one you mentioned, it sounds like a good deal.0

As a local, I recommend the Fylde to anyone ‘exploring’ outside the town centre - but if you’re in the middle then the Embassy is pretty good.
Silcocks provide some excellent facilities in the town, a few of my family members have worked for them and they’re good to their staff, too.0
