Everyday spending card in sweden

Hi guys, I’m over in Sweden working a 3wks on, 1wk off from March till about August...!
I’m looking for a everyday debit card just for buying food at the supermarket as my accommodation, travel etc is taken care of.
I’ve taken Swedish kronor over and using that and also occasionally my RBS debit card (I know, the card is not the best for spending over here!!)
Can I get a debit card just for over here to use for easy-ness instead of carrying bundles of Swedish kroner (and loose change) about?! I’m not fussed about withdrawing anything, it’ll just be small transactions up to £50 for the daily/weekly shop!
Thanks

I know you mentioned debit card but you could apply for a tandem credit card which has excellent exchange rates would be accepted everywhere in Sweden and even gives you cashback! Obviously remember to set up a direct debit to pay the full amount off each month
as for debit cards you could open a starling account which again gives excellent exchange rates but no cash back of course
Both tandem and starling you have to open by downloading the app onto your mobile phone and doing it there it is very simple0 -

Starling Bank account, does exactly what you want, no fees or charges and conversion is done at MasterCard rates.

Starling and a credit card like as mentioned Tandem or Halifax clarity would be a good option, its wise to have a backup.0

I also use both Starling Bank and Tandem (plus others) for travel, both excellent. Metro Bank debit card is also fee free throughout Europe. Going cashless in Sweden is the norm these days, as you may have noticed, so really no need for any expense and hassle exchanging cash.Evolution, not revolution0
