Scottish Power Shares

During a tidy up I’ve found an old share certificate from May 2006.
I’ve tried looking online to see if they are worth anything, but I’m confused as there was some kind of re-issue and merge of companies or something.
The registrar Lloyd’s TSB website no longer exists.
Shareview asks for a URN from the certificate, but there is only a certificate number or account number (neither of these work)?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Dan.

You need to find out what you did in 2007

Very lightly skimming through the documents, I'm guessing if you're still receiving dividends from Iberdrola, then you elected to retain a holding, otherwise you elected to sell the whole lot for cash0 -
I think a good place to start would be phoning Equiniti - they certainly deal with Iberdrola SA in UK and Iberdrola are on spanish stock market. I think that if like Santander shares there might be Spanish with holding tax implication - while I have never truly got to terms with this I think ( someone might be able to correct me) that when you sell them if the shares have made a profit you pay the tax - and unlike UK its not after a certain amount you pay tax. It was through me having old Abbey National Shares that became Santander that I found out about this. But if the shares haven't made a profit you dont, when the Ab Nat where converted they might have been £7, but if they are now worth £3 as Santander you would not need to pay the spanish tax.
Am sure someone will come along with the right explanation, but look to Equiniti.0
