Hi I received a parking ticket of which I disagreed. Tried to appeal however indigo did not give verification code so unable to appeal to POPLA and now I have received a threat to go to solicitor s and ccj which will affect my credit rating.
Any advice grateful

It is not a fine and it will not affect your credit rating. There is a lot of information on here about indigo tickets, also, please read the stickies/FAQs and, if uou need assistance come back to us with a lot more detail.
On 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these private parking companies. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, and persistent offenders denied access. Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers.
Until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Thank you for your reply I am completely clueless about this. The solicitors letter from 23 4 19 definitely says ccj will be looking to obtain one?
Thank you0 -
Everyone is asked to read up on this in the newbies faq thread near the top of the forum before starting a new thread
Go there now to get an understanding of the game you are now caught up in and how to deal with this
Your credit status is only affected if you fail to pay a ccj within a month of the judgement

Did you read the NEWBIE section and in particular the bits about Indigo? Was it parking at a railway station? Solicitors cannot issue CCJs. They are County Court Judgments, ergo only a county court can issue them, following a process (fully explained in the NEWBIE post # 2) after receipt of a LOC/LBA/LBCC, going to court, losing and failing to pay within the time scale ordered by a judge.0

Was this ticket from a railway station and does it say it's a penalty notice? Look very carefully at what it's called it's amazing how many people confuse penalty notice and parking notice.0

As above. No PoPLA code sounds very much like a railway/byelaws case where Indigo use SABA instead of PoPLA. The advice in that case is to ignore, but you haven't given us enough information for us to make an informed decision on how we can help you.
Please give us as much information as possible but without giving precise details such as times or names. Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
