alloy wheel refurbishment
HI,
i searched round for a company to refurbish a set of 4 alloy wheels. Finally picked a guy who said he could do them as they are powder coated and polished. He was charging on the high side as they weren't standard wheels. Anyway when i went to pick them up , i examined them and found 3 wheels had dust or "bits" in the top coat. I explained i wasn't happy with the finish but he is insistent that what he has done is best he can do. i refused to pay at that moment but said i would go back Monday. what recourse do i have on this type of work, Do i pay with credit card and place a note on the receipt saying i am paying but not happy with them. Then contact trading standards and the credit card company to make a claim?
regards
Mac

You are in a difficult position if he refuses to return your wheels until you pay.
Ultimately your recourse would be via county court / small claims court."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
