Why did you do that? You know he's a prat, so why antagonise him by putting a plastic bottle on it?Elliott316 wrote: »Well thats what i just did put an empty plastic bottle on it, he has just thrown it at our front door tgen him and his wife have just been round threatening all sorts.

Wow, if that's how the neighbour reacts when all you've done is put a plastic bottle on this "shelf", god only knows what they'd do IF you tried to remove it, or asked nicely for it to be removed. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0

Police are involved now. Advised to contact housing association with full ist of anti social behaviour. Luckily have cctv documentation.0

Its on my land surely im entitled to0

If you want a (more) peaceful life, as said, don't antagonise. You're not helping yourself. Report to the Housing Association.0

How childish that sounds, and that's how things escalate. You've already been threatened and I'm not for one minute equating that with you putting a bottle there, but it seems you did so just to provoke a reaction. Don't be a second idiot in the situation. One is enough. It's good to know your rights, but it takes sense to exercise them. Do things by the book and let the appropriate authorities deal with what arises.Elliott316 wrote: »Its on my land surely im entitled to0 -
If this neighbour added the shelf board to your side, who painted the fence prior to that?
From here, it seems he has taken great care to achieve an excellent colour match. If he was trying to wind you up, why would he bother?0 -
