car accident injury

sorry if this is in the wrong place but can anyone help me understand this hubby and i were hit from behind at traffic lights in feb both treated for whiplash and had our personal medicals hubby got his report back with an estimated value of £3500 - £3700 i've had mine back its got the Diagnosis of injuries sustained and prognosis Neck 8 months ......... Associated dizziness and tinnitus 8 months .........lower back 6 months ........ but were hubby's had a estimated value mine says nothing does that mean i won't get anything sorry if this sounds like a daft question but ive never been in a car accident before so don't know how any of this works

    I'm more surprised that your other half's medical report DOES put a number to it. That's not the doctor's job. The doctor's job is to state what the physical damage is...
  • Thanks hun both the copies of the reports were sent from carpenters who are dealing with the case for us to sign and return i just didn't understand why they were different

    You should be waiting at least 8 months before you claim to establish whether or not you've made a complete recovery.

    Yes you might want to look into this. I have heard of people settling for relatively small amounts soon after an accident who are still suffering years later. It's in the other party's interests to get you to sign off sooner rather than later.

    Is Carpenters your Solicitors or were they appointed by the insurance company? You might try searching here for more realistic reviews of this company than those on TrustPilot.
