No you do not.
Any tax due should have been paid by the executors out of the estate before passing you the money, its not your concern.0 -
No, if any IHT due is payed out of the estate by the executors before any distribution of bequests is made.0

No, the responsibility for paying inheritance tax lies with the Personal Representative of the deceased person. If you receive Tax Credits you might inform HMRC of any extra income you expect to receive as a result of saving or investing your inheritance, but apart from that there is no need to tell HMRC anything.The comments I post are my personal opinion.
