I’ve got my most recent wage slip and there was a line stating CO paymt, so I did some digging and I believe that this is as a result of some sort of dwp or housing benefit debt.
The trouble is, I’ve not received any letters or anything to tell me about this or the total amount - I’ve not claimed any benefits in a very long time and I have lived in a number of different places around the country...
How can I find out what this is and if the money they have taken this month is all they will take?
Edit - this may be in the wrong place, I’m sorry.

I would suggest asking your payroll department first. If it is a court order I assume that they will be able to give you some form of reference which you can take to the court service to find out more.
It’s possible that a court process has been completed without you receiving correspondence because of moving around.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
