Hi chums another week has flown by I swear time is getting faster :)
I nipped to the Drs to pick upi my 'script, then to the chemist to get it filled then to the bank where I deposited almost £3.00 in small change salvaged from the bottom of several handbags :) I have a tendency to throw pennies two pennies and five pennies into my hand bag when I get it given to me and I thought this morning I would empty them out so a bit more cash has been popped into the holiday fund :)every little helps :)
Just about to go round to DDs to let the dogs out for a run, then have a natter with DGS Jack and probably put his stuff in my car as I am taking him back to Uni in the morning. On the way back I shall pop into Bluewater and have my freebie coffee and cake as my voucher runs out next week I will also have a shufti in JL while I am there as I do enjoy a good mooch around JL :) I have a voucher for M&S so I may have a look in there as well
Hope every one has a good weekend

    Cheers chums

    Hi everyone,
I felt decidedly dodgy this morning but both DGC have had upset tums this week.Feeling a little better now and just had a piece of toast.Glad you're back at work Camelot.
Sorry about your neighbour Csarina, what a shock! Silver-oldie hugs for you and your Mum.Hope you find something to ease the radio burns Holly and Taff xx
I think I just spotted the council arboriculturist getting back in his car ( or it could have been a meter reader :rotfl:) after visiting the trellis with the 2 nests in,so hopefully we will hear soon whether the council can go ahead/or delay making the path at the end of the gardens.I'm not happy just having a board propped up to keep my 10st dog safe  so if it is delayed DH will have to rig something temporary up. Sounds like next door but one is busy taking his shed down in the pouring rain.
I don't feel like cooking today so we'll have a quiche and new pots for tea. DGC will be here too,and swimming/football starts again in the morning after the Easter break.
Think I'll have a relax with my book before I go for DGS,Happy Weekend all x

Afternoon all. Late one from me as we had a bus trip to the Mall at Cribbs Causeway today. It took an hour and twenty minutes each way!

John had a good time with coffee in John Lewis and lunch was a burger in GBK. We had a nice walk around and a model railway magazine was purchased and some fresh fruit and tomatoes and a half cucumber from M&S. We know how to live!

Just having a cuppa and a sit down now.

Csarina so sorry to hear about your neighbour. SO have been there sending you love and hugs to you and Mum.
HH sorry life is rubbish today. Nice to see you posting.

Have a good rest of the day folks.

  • Afternoon folks. A late one from me too. I don't know where this morning went I was having such fun doing the Friday Tidy (not!!!) Quick lunch and then went into town to collect my window vac. Bought a few bits from Bodycare and Poundland too as I was passing.

Not tried the window vac yet, it's still charging. May try it on the shower screen first where I don't have an audience watching me making a mess of the job!

SILVER-OLDIE life is tough for you just now. I wish you had someone to support you. TAFF I admire you not giving in to the effects of the rad but I worry that you are trying to do too much. Take it easy for a while.

Had the usual odd shower or two here but nothing dramatic. It sounds like we will be getting the worst of it tomorrow! Typical, as I have a day out in store. We picked the wrong day methinks!

My tea is going to be smoked haddock with a poached egg on top, with some salad and baby potatoes. As I had early breakfast and early lunch I am ready for early tea now.

Have a nice evening folks if you can. Thinking of all the poorlies and those looking after them. Take care all xx

  • Specky, I do not know how my neighbour is going to manage, she had to have her left leg amputated because of sepsis. She has not got her prosthesis yet.

She has carers going in twice a day........she is diabetic, so no idea how she is going to cope. There is only so much that we can do.
