Contractless broadband???

So trying to save some money. I’m essentially living in student halls of residence and have been using the PAYG broadband that is provided by the “box” in the utility room!
Can’t complain about the service, but I think it is on the pricey side (checking costs out later tonight).
I do have a telephone port in my room - unsure if it works, and I am likely to be going away for six months in October.
Is there any provider that is likely to meet my needs?

No-one will supply you without a contract setting out the obligations of both parties, but you can find providers with a 30 day minimum term if you are concerned about early termination charges.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230

I’d never consider using the landline. 3UK have pre-pay deals and a mobile Wi-Fi router that makes it a no-brainier. Far cheaper than a fixed line, but do check coverage first!0
