Advice

Hi all,
I am after advice. I will be shortly applying for a credit card that will be used to pay for fuel for my business mileage. The balance will be cleared each month. I was looking at the reward and cashback cards but as I estimate that I will only be spending around £300 per month on the credit card I'm not sure if its worth it. Any recommendations?

  • It depends what you want from it.

£300 per month, say £3600 per year, will yield you back £18 for a year on a card paying 0.5% cashback.

You'll get more with an Amex card, but not much more.

It's only worth it if you like something for nothing.

You just need to decide what reward you value and then see if you can get accepted.
