Advice please on transfer of ownership

Hi, I piggy backed on a previous thread, so, not wanting to take over that user’s initial question (and being a newbie not knowing how to create a new thread), here I go...
Could I make a claim from the sale of my ex-wife’s (once ours) house. Long story short: house bought in 1999 for £80k, joint mortgage, she paid deposit using money from sale of her flat and existing mortgage on it.
We had a joint mortgage. I paid this monthly, she footed utility bills. 2006 we broke up. I continued paying mortgage. 2008, we agreed on a maintenance payment for our 2 children and help her pay the mortgage. 2012, transfer of ownership to have ex have sole ownership. I continued to pay maintenance.
I walked away, leaving house as security for ex and future inheritance for the children. I received nothing (nor asked as I’m by own admission naive in such things).
House is now on the market, valued at £240k with plans for her to re-marry.
Any hope I can get my share of equity or claim back some of the mortgage I paid for during the years we were together? Or simply, you signed, you lose!!
Thanks

Nope, no idea why you think otherwise.0

I’m extremely oblivious to all the ins and outs when it comes to finance etc. As I said, very naive. Just asking around in the glimmer of hope that I can get a little something to get some debts paid off. Nothing ventured...0

Whatever was agreed in the divorce settlement is final.0

Thanks. Never thought I’d settle for being penniless though. Such a travesty. Still, I’ve got the £1.25 shirt I’ve put by in the charity shop to look forward to getting on pay day next week. Ho hum0

You mention 'ex-wife'. So you are divorced?
What was agreed in the divorce settlement?
Presumably that ex-wife got the house?
So she can do with it what she wants.0 -
Yes we are divorced and she got the house. I only wish I’d known about being bought out and wondered if there was any recouping to be had especially after a very sizeable increase between 80k mortgage and 240k selling price (ok, it’s relative as this is what houses are now in the region of) and me with mounting debts due to paying maintenance on top.0

Thanks. Just wondered and couldn’t find any info online. As I suspected.0
