Heat detectors, and the cable looks like burglar alarm cable. Not compliant as a fire alarm to British Standards for life protection, but may have been installed as a back-up system eg if the burglar alarm has a telephone dialler to alert someone to a fire when the building is unoccupied.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
