Best and Final offer

Hi

I recently went to view a house that had been on the market for 3 days. They had received much interest with 2 bids in the space of a week. The house went to best and final offer with me meeting the asking price of 360. They received a third bid during this process. We were later told our offer had been rejected. But 3 Weeks later the house is still on the market and taking viewings. I am aware they were also keen to sell quickly as they were in a chain. Do you think they had rejected all the offers or accepted one but still open to more offers?

It is anyones guess as to what happened. Maybe rejected all hoping they could get more, maybe they did accept one but now they are not proceeding (or aren't proceedable) so looking again. You can only ask the EA and see what they say, if anything.
