Thank you, so I have added money to my account and then need to buy the Scottish Mortgage investment separately with Deal?
When I was with BG for the last year I didn't do anything, they did it for me. I just paid £100 a month by DD. As you can tell I am clueless0 -
Yes. Deal will allow you to buy shares on an Ad Hoc basis but it will cost you £11.95. You might be better setting up a monthly savings direct debit instruction. This will take money from your nominated bank account on the 7th of the month and purchase the shares on the 10th but will only cost you £1.50. Look at the 'Monthly Savings' tab in your account. There may be special conditions for transferred BG funds that I am not aware of so check first0

Just checked myself and still the same0 -

Thanks did not know it want off at midnight as guess its normally there when we use it & the last date is in August for the people who don't make a decision so should be there a bit longer.
Take the point about Saturday trading but if you send letters out saying your doing a transfer on the 13th you should expect people would likely check on that date (or try)0 -
Nothing financial ever happens on Saturday, and even if the shares have transferred today, you couldn't do anything with them till Monday.
I could count them!
There is also about £50 cash that I want to withdraw.
My shares have disappeared off the BG share plan (I could log in earlier). But they have not appeared in my existing HL Fund & Share Account.
I am hopeful they will appear later tonight or tomorrow morning.0 -

I agree. If they wanted to do the transfer on Monday they should have put 15 July in the terms and conditions.
But I think they may have chosen a Saturday so they have more time to process the transfers.
When I spoke to HL about the transfer that was supposed to have happened on the 1st June they said they were processing the transfers throughout the day and my shares would appear at the end of the day (they didn't, but that was BG's mistake due to not cancelling the June Direct Debit).
We just have to keep an eye on it.0
