I have an iPhone SE, I have over 700 photos and constantly having to delete things as memory full, I have recently installed iCloud at 79p a month but this makes it no better so it seems pointless, is there another way as we go on holiday next week and I’ll need some free space for taking photos.
Thanks in advance.

Use Google photos app for freeEx forum ambassador

USB drive for iPhone available from Amazon.
Alternatively do a full back up to iCloud and delete all photos from your device.
In all honesty you should upgrade to at least a 32 GB iPhone or even better a 64 gb model.0 -
Amazon prime gives you unlimited free photo storage, but there is a limit on videos.

In settings, photos, make sure optimise iPhone storage is selected.0

+1 for Google Photos but you will need a local backup before letting the app free up space by deleting photos from phone. Have you got a PC or laptop you can connect phone to?"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0

The OP already uses iCloud photos, no need for google photos.0

I have ordered a 32gb memory stick, I plan to put them on pc then transfer onto stick, thanks for the replies.0

Put the iCloud app on your desktop PC - it will download the photos to your PC automatically, and then when you remove them from the phone they stay on your PC (but you can always copy to the USB first for a double back-up).(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)0

You don’t need to remove them from your phone, just turn on optimise iPhone storage.0
