No options to insure HP laptops?

Hi all,

I've recently purchased an HP laptop as a gift, and would like to insure it against accidental damage as the recipient has a track record...

I was quite surprised to find that the big companies like GoCompare, Money, Moneysupermarket etc. all don't have an option to insure HP laptops. Their drop down boxes only accept Apple, Dell, Lenovo and Microsoft.

Does anyone know the reason for this? HP themselves don't offer accidental damage cover in the UK and I find the whole situation bizarre.

I don;t know the reason, but I think there are companies that will - 'Protect your bubble', for one, although I've no personal experience of the company
