To switch or not to switch?

I’ve been thinking of switching my bank account but not sure how it would affect me,I’m with the Halifax but also have an isa with them and also got my mortgage with them,could I still switch? How would it affect my mortgage? Please help 🙏🏼🤞🏼

The ISA is unlikely to be dependent on a current account. Your mortgage might be, though again it is unlikely. The T&Cs of the ISA / your mortgage will say if there's a link to the current account.0

It takes about 5 minutes to open another account with Halifax online. Afterwards you can either (1) move some DD and set up some standing orders and switch it or (2) switch the old account and keep the new one0
