Hello everyone!
This is my first real go at meal planning so we'll see how well I stick to it!
Today- roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, cabbage plus apple and berries crumble.
The rest of the week in no particular order:
Leftover chicken curry
Pizza
Vegetable chilli and rice
Sausage casserole
Mince beef and onion pie

I boil pots & onions until soft, mash with butter and cheese, put in dish sprinkle more cheese on top along with some sliced tomatoes and pop in oven for 20 mins. Then serve with sausages & baked beans. This is DS fave meal, he would eat it every day if I let him. :rolleyes:

Sun- roast beef, roast pots,parsnips,yorkies, cabbage,cauli and leeks
Mon-left over beef, bubble and squeak
Tues-H/m leek&pot soup,H/m bread
Wed-oriental salmon steaks,stir fried veg
Thur-mince & onion pie, mash,veg
Fri-sausage & H/m chips
Sat-veg curry, rice, naans

Ooh I just love reading everyone else's ideas - toad in the hole, yum yum I think that might be on next weeks list!!
Sat - pork curry (was supposed to be beef but OH can't read labels apparently and used the pork joint that I was going to use for Sunday's dinner!!!:rotfl: Still, loads left over so put in the freezer for another night
Sun - beef hot pot (!) instead of roast pork.....
Mon - Homemade hamburger and chips
Tue - Spagetti bolognese and garlic bread
(I notice there's a lot of beef happening here...)
Wed - Homemade pizza
Thu - Chicken curry (or whatever OH knocks up with chicken)
Fri - Fish pie and veg
Currently trying to plan for December to make sure I don't overspend with Christmas coming up, so will keep reading old posts for more ideas. Also want to run down the store cupboard and freezer to reduce the expenditure0 -

Hi. We haven't tied down our days of the week, so these may swap a bit, but...
Monday: Roast beef (from freezer), gravy, spuds and the like
Tuesday: Carribean curry with rice, or Chicken Dhansak and naan
Wednesday: Sausage and mash
Thursday: Chicken pasta
Friday: Red beef thai curry
Saturday: Friends round, so nibble-ey tea
Sunday: who knows...possibly shoulder of lamb

i have never meal planned before but being inspired from another os thread here we go
Sunday........... Lasagne and garlic bread
Monday............ Home made fish and chips
tuesday.......... Macaroni cheese and chips
Wednesday........Mince and tatties
Thursday................ Roast beef and trimmings
Friday ................ Sausage plait and chips
Saturday ................ Stovies
all these meals will be padded out with veggies or baked beans

Well, stuck to my plan all but one day-had a bit of a crazy week:eek: so hope to do better this week!!
Here's what we are having:
Sun-Sausage, celeriac and peppercorn mash with onion gravy, broccoli.
Mon-Beef in Beer(HM from freezer-been in there ????months) with leftover mash and broccoli.
Tues-chicken and noodles/rice.
Weds-HM Chilli (freezer), in tortillas or with rice
Thurs-Cheese and potato pie, balsamic tomatoes, sweet onions.
Fri-Out at friends, taking pud but don't know what yet
Sat-Roast mediterranean veg and tuna or feta.
Here's hoping we all have a good week:DOf all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.....0 -
not sure what days dh will be at home or kids eating at there pals so dont tend to need a full 7 dinners, not sure about days but vaguely.......

i have freezers full of food so why is my imagination so rubbish!- prior planning prevents poor performance!
