Found this useful tool if you are deluged with spam, https://www.clearmymail.co.uk. Gives a two week free trial, then £18 per year. And it works! Unless of course you want 'an enlargement', Viagra, Rolex or some dodgy shares! Over 150 spam messages blocked in 24 hours.

Its only because I have several domain names and web sites that I am deluged. Unfortunately as soon as you put a site up there are bots that detect any email address linked to the domain. It is the most tiring aspect of the online world, and one that until this discovery that has seemed incurable.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

Very interesting, I will give it a look. If it does the same job as effectively for free then I am interested. Thanks for the link.
Not sure how spamhilator works but clearmymail harvests the email from the pop3 box and filters through several stages before delivering the mail to the email client. Also they guarantee 100% spam free or the next month is free.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

If you are putting your e-mail on the website in plain text then it will get harvested, you should use an munger.

You should also set up your websites/mail to ONLY accept the e-mail address that you state. Lots of spammers will send to all the general names that you would associate with a website, eg, mail, sales, admin, administrator, support etc.0 -
I would recommend Spamhilator as well. I suddenly had an increase in spam and was getting about 300 spam items per day. I installed Spamhilator and within 3 days was getting none. It's free, quick and doesn't seem to take much in the way of system overheads.Debt at highest: £6,290.72 (14.2.1999)
