Was just thinking of posting about that. It's the same for everyone, as far as I'm aware, and started about a week ago. The reduction from 2.5 to 1.6 is if the Hideout site isn't your active window, otherwise it's down from 3.3 to 2.2.Shame they've cut the points, especially to such a notable extent, and when they're still robbing us through not sorting out the crediting issues as well. Lots of ads in recent months but nowhere near the right amount of points, and their video player's been riddled with bugs for months since they made changes to it. Maybe they're not interested in fixing those issues and can't afford to.2

pebblebeach8 said:I noticed that Hideout has reduced the daily points to 3 and some videos are only worth 1.6 now instead of 2.5. I have only earnt 12.6 points (including bonus 3) in an hour. Is it just me or are other people not earning as much? I am in Opera GX on laptop (in case that makes a difference).
Guess it is a measure to try and get finances in order at the provider to keep it running but more or less it is a slow dying of the service.2 -
Although it's great that things have improved since last summer, when the sites were offline for a while and then they gradually picked things up again with the creation of new sites, I think overall there must be some fundamental issues with their business.I mean, they started out as EngageMe and then changed to Hideout, and now earlier this year changed to PixelPoint, and have come up with all sorts of new sites over the years. In fairness their ad inventory's good at the moment so perhaps the new sites have helped to get more ads, but the underlying problems must still be there.Am continuing to use them but I do think it's a concern that they kind of keep moving from one incarnation to another with all the site and name changes.2

I got an email last week, which didn't really read properly, so took another look and looks like they have teamed up with Amazon fire.
Excerpt from email:-Hi PixelPoint User,
We’re thrilled to announce that the PixelPointTV app has officially launched on Amazon Fire! 🎉 You can now enjoy all the amazing features and earning opportunities of PixelPointTV right from your Amazon Fire device. Check it out here: PixelPointTV on Amazon Fire.
