Tax code

I changed jobs last October and was given a new tax code which is 1256L. I googled this tax code and couldn't see it apart from the tax code 1250L. I asked my employer if this was the right code, which they said it is, but couldn't explain the difference between the codes. Does anyone know what my tax code means?

The coding notice should show some workings as well as the end result, are you able to share a picture of it (personal details redacted) or at least the key numbers?
