Found out my doorbell wasn't working this morning, so instead of keeping the old battery one with wires, I want to go wireless.
Any recommendations folks, and anything to avoid.

We've got one of these. Dynamics Sounds.
You can add as many receivers as you want,(we have one down the garden)
Had it a couple of years, works great.

I bought one for my Aunt. Has 2 bell receivers which just plug into mains sockets so you can move them around easily and no need to worry about batteries.
Also the push button itself creates its own energy when people press it. Again, no battery needed.
Don't have a link right now to the one I got but the technology certainly works very well cell free.
I'm sure Extinction Rebellion would approve :-)0 -
We bought a cheapie wilko one for about a tenner a few years ago. It lasted about a year. They knock the door or the window now.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Yes , it was, because they ere asking about inexpensive wireless doorbells. The cheapo one cost 9.99 which is inexpensive. Suppose I should have added in the price to start with....Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

We have a 1 By One cordless plug-in (we don't need plug-through), currently £12-99 from Amazon and it's still going strong after four years.
The bell push takes CR2032 batteries which even with decent quality ones are cheap enough and they last quite a while too.0 -
I second the 1ByOne. I have a plug in upstairs and a battery one down. Got mine on Ebay where you will find various combinations of units and pushes. Mine is 3 year old but is in a position exposed to the elements so I have spare push just in case the rain get in.0
