My local Shell is extortionate so it won’t bother me.

When independently owned it was always competitive on price. It was then bought by EG and prices went through the roof. Today diesel is 139.9, Asda a mile away is 130.7 and BP not far away is 132.9.

But it’s still always busy with muppets queuing up to throw money away.

It looks like too much trouble to bother with. Having to visit 10 times is excessive just to get a reward, still have no idea what a reward is as Ive only visited 3 times since I posted lol . I could theoretically get a fuel card every day and fill up £10 but sure I'd be questioned by work and it's the extra time and hassle for me.
The only small benefit is 10% off coffees and snacks.
While I'm here has anyone worked out if the new home rewards is worth doing?

Tesco is the best imo, 1 point for every £2 spent, i usually spend £60 a week on company van so that's 30p or 90p in deals every week

Morrisons do 5 points per £1, mounts up a lot quicker than Tesco ;)

  • Isn't supermarket fuel inferior quality?
  • Signed up to pitch in. Shell will never be good value for money on generic fuel. But if you own a car that can benefit from premo fuel and you love it and you also like hooning about you're only going to want to put Vpower in your tank. In this regard your getting the best value and your engine and right foot will thank you for it. Otherwise stick to your supermarket fuel...
