I have been researching ways to promote my website effectively i.e The Most Bang For Your Buck

Is there a website out there that advises people on how to get traffic my website is educational of a non commercial nature.

Before you pay somebody to help you progress up the google charts there are a few tricks you can use yourself.

Firstly try the following web site, lots of tools to help optimize you're site:

The sesond option is to download a free optimization program. With this you can interegate your web page and compare against those ranking higher than yourself. The benefits are that report generated offers advice where you can improve optimization:

I know it's time limited but it only takes a few minutes to obtain a report of your site plus you have all the submit features available.

I have heard its better to host in the United States and with certain ISP's who have a strong record of defending freedom of speech.

Is backing up ones website easy to do
or is it better to make a Mirror Site

What do people here think of the .tk Domain based off New Zealand is it worth using.

I can't comment on hosting from other countries or legal challanges.

For backing up my sites I either keep all the data in a local folder on my pc or, when I wanted to create an extra back up on an external drive, I just used an FTP program (Filezilla)to stream the data back from the web.

I've downloaded and run a programme that is supposed to boost your sites detection rate in search engines, it auto submits your site to hundreds of search engines, checks out your site and recomends what meta tags and content you should add, sounds good, and I've done all the things it suggested, but as most search engines take a few days to a few weeks to digest a new site, I've had no results in the rankings yet, beyond the site name itself, I'm just sitting back to see if I get any results, the programme is called... Internet Business Promoter (IBP) I cant say if it's any good or not yet, but the search engine listing thing was easy.

How does it compare/rate against similar products?

Is it available on Ebay ? Does the Free Version of this software give you a true test of its usefulness,whats their support like.

There is no 1 month trial. There is WebCEO free edition. It is free and not time limited. Check it.
And I think it is easier to use direct link https://www.webceo.com

Web CEO gives the impression it's free but check carefully - The 'knowledge base subscription' only lasts a month with the free version.

Oh, now I see what you are about. I use this software (professional edition). And as for me it is worth the money asked . By the way when I visited their page yesterday I saw the special discount - half a price (for those who thought about purchasing it).

As for the link - I just was surprised by the variables in the URL. It really works OK, excuse my inattention

50% of people use Google. 25% of people use Yahoo. MSN gets another 10%.

Unless there are "subject specific" search engines you wish to be on, I would stick to those three and forget the rest.
