Cashminder to current account advice

Hiya!
Currently I have x2 cash-minder accounts with the CoOp bank. However I’m wanting to convert one to a current account. I love the coop and ideally would love to convert with them... but the appeal to switch - usuing the online offers off free cash it tempting!
Can anyone please advice if a cashminder account can be converted to a current account with another provider using a switch service?

Also... will I still keep open my second cashminder / savings and ISA or will I need to close these?

Kind regards
Sarah

I had a cashminder account some years ago and the coop refused to upgrade it so i switched it to tesco, so yes you can switch it but be aware that there will be a hard search on your'e credit file, not all banks will upgrade a basic account, you have to re-apply for their standard current accounts.

Yes you can switch to another account, we have switched our joint Cashminder to Monzo, OH has switched his single one to First Direct.

I still have my co-op savings/ISA/other single Cashminder.

The reason we switched is because they refused to upgrade us to a full account, I've already moved my savings out, the account is empty and I'll be moving my ISA too, I'm only keeping my Cashminder open for my own convenience, there's nothing in it.
