Samsung WS32Z10 tv with colour and image problems.

I have a widescreen Samsung WS32Z10 tv that is almost 4 years old and was working fine until about 2 months ago. It suddenly started having these horizontal green lines across it. Then about a month ago the colour started to go all funny and tonight it has finally gone so the colour is just a range of bright reds and purples. It is out of warranty but paid £650 for it so not to happy that it has lasted such a short amount of time. I cannot take it to be fixed as it 62 kilos and I cannot move it and it would probably cost more to fix than it is worth. Therefore, I wondered if anyone could offer any advice on what could be the problem and how I might be able to fix it myself if it is fixable or whether I should just get rid of it?
Cheers.

You need to take it to be fixed. It's not something you can fix yourself unless you're happy adjusting the Line Output Transformer and the RGB guns on the tube base.
It shouldn't cost more than £50 or so to fix it.0 -
Thank you Conor. That is very helpful!0

Yeah...its probably the line output transformer being overdriven. Either it's gone out of adjustment or there's a fault on the power supply.
TV repairers have a "bible" which lists common faults for each model and what the exact component is that's gone wrong for each type of fault.
Apart from the tube, most parts aren't that expensive.0
