Hello,

I won a competition just over the £500 limit back in December of KISS FM. I havent been entering comps over the value of £500 since as i know i will be barred from doing so.

However, i am now coming up to the 6 months...BUT is it from when you won, or from when you received the prize? i was on the radio 5th December so im hoping my ban is over 5th May.. but i didnt actually receive my prize until weeks later [and im still waiting for some of it to arrive- tickets to a gig in November...].

Anyone know?

When I won my £5,000 I was told it was from when I won.

The 6 month entry restriction after a £500 or more win now applies to ALL competitions from the date of the win not just those £500 or over.

I won around the same time as you. Was on the radio 4th December. 6 months from then is 4th June (May would only be 5 months). I'm going to start entering again in June.

Maybe you could start entering Bauer comps during May - providing their E: end date was after 5th June ? , then you'd be outside the 6 months if you did win
