Before I scrap my TV, has anybody any idea what would cause large green and red areas covering pale backgrounds?
Mostly noticeable on peoples faces and arms, looks like they've been dipped in paint!
TV is fine when first tuned on, fault starts after about 10 minutes then gets gradually worse. Because of this I thought it may have been overheating so I removed back and blew any dust and fluff away with airline, but it hasn't helped. All fans are working.
Any ideas, or time to scrap it?
TIA for any suggestions.

First step factory reset.0

Please don't use airlines in future if you're using one supplied by a compressor. This is because the air in the airline gets a lot of moisture in it which isn't good for electronics. There's a reason bodyshops use air driers on their airlines for their paint booths. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Tried factory reset, no different. Thanks anyway.
Our airline has a refrigerator/drier. Again, thanks.0 -

I had a 48” Panasonic plasma TV bought when they started commercially replacing CRT TVs. It still worked great up to the point when I threw it in the skip because the plasma cells (I read this somewhere) started to degrade which affected the colours. There is no resale value and my life past through yet another great period of technical innovation.0
