How do I know if the new meters have been updated on the national database?

It tells me who my supplier is but because the supplier remained the same it does not tell me if the database has been updated.

Also, I found out what are the MPRN and MPAN numbers they have but my new meters not only do not have those numbers, they don't have numbers with the same number of digits at all...

Hello tadaska and we'll be happy to let you know where we're at with the update following your meter exchange.

Contact details are on our website. As well as by phone, there's our online Live Chat service or the private messaging facilities on our Social Media channels - twitter and Facebook. Advisors are available through all channels from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and between 8am and 6pm Saturdays.

Please make a note of the serial numbers from the meters themselves and we can check if they're on the system yet.

The MPRN (gas) and MPAN (electricity) are unique numbers that identify the gas and electricity supplies at individual properties. These don't change and are different from meter serial numbers.

Hope this points you in the right direction tadaska.

Sorry, yes you are correct, they show the MPRN/MPAN numbers only.
The serial numbers should appear on your bills from E.ON so you can (or used to be able to) enter meters readings and get a new bill generated straight away. They are hidden as part of the "Your Supply Details" box, I believe.

Still can gsmlnx although no need to request a bill unless needed. The meter serial numbers are listed on the page where customers enter readings.
