UKPC parking fine for not displaying permit in my residence parking place

Hi

I have been fined by UKPC for not displaying parking permit (given by my house owner) in rented car which is parked in my allotted parking place. Anyhow i am having the permit with me. Can i go for appeal to cancel the fine by showing the ukpc permit slip? please suggest me as i am new to England.

    It is not a fine.

Send the blue appeal template from the NEWBIES sticky thread to UKPC straight away so that the car rental company don't get involved.

The NEWBIES thread is just underneath where you clicked on the newthread.gif button.

Tell the car rental company you are dealing with this and they MUST NOT pay any charges they receive from UKPC.

Check your lease to see what it says about parking and parking permits, or doesn't say as well. Complain to the landlord/landowner and any managing agent.

Complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.

Get pictures of the site and signage.

please suggest me as i am new to England.
Are you just visiting the UK (if so, for how long]?

Or are you moving to this country (if so, is this a permanent move)?

If you still have a permanent place of residence in another country where someone can open your mail, or you will be visiting regularly, then give your overseas address to UKPC.
By law it only has to be an address for service, which just means an address where you can be contacted. It does not have to be in this country. UKPC cannot take you to court in another country.

If you have such an address abroad then give that to UKPC when you send the blue template appeal, but give your current address as a temporary address to the car rental company as well as your permanent overseas address.

OK, so deal with it as per Fruitcake’s advice above.

Re-read what I told you in post 2. Go back to the first page you started on and look for the NEWBIES thread which is near the top. In post 1 you will find a template appeal written in blue writing.

Copy it and paste it into UKPC's appeal web page. The notice on the car will have told you how to do this.

Give your overseas address and tell them you are the day to day keeper. Include the PCN number and vehicle registration. Do not tick the box about the driver. Only tick the box that says keeper, and make sure the keeper box is still ticked before you send the appeal.

Do not rush this, but don't leave it longer than a coulpe of weeks.

Sen time reading and understanding hat is needed.

The NEWBIES thread is just underneath where you clicked on the newthread.gif button.
You are looking for the thread with a title:
**NEWBIES!! PRIVATE PARKING TICKET? OLD OR NEW? **READ THESE FAQS FIRST!** Thankyou!

You can use the Forum Jump "Go" button that you will find near the top or bottom right of this page. Click on that and it will take you to the main parking forum page where you started. Save that page in your favourites.

Then look for a sticky thread near the top that says,

**NEWBIES!! PRIVATE PARKING TICKET? OLD OR NEW? **READ THESE FAQS FIRST!** Thankyou!

It is very long and has five main posts. Read post 5 first and then either print or write down the acronyms and abbreviations you will find there.

Then read post 1, find the appeal template in blue text. Copy and paste this into your appeal on the UKPC web page.

Note that you can't do this on a mobile 'phone. You need a full sized laptop or computer otherwise you can't see or use all the buttons.
