I see that it didn't take long for the Bulb spammers to come out of the woodwork!

Considering the future of npower is currently still up in the air then this seems an odd time to launch a new partnership.

Think we can add Utility Point to that list too :(

Whatever happened to the Octopus spammers? Have they all gone bankrupt for paying too much for their energy?

In what way is nPower's future "up in the air"?

Their parent company (Innogy) is currently undergoing a takeover by E.ON, however when this process started they expected npower and sse to have merged. That's now not going ahead so they don't know what to do with npower. Assuming the takeover goes ahead as planned then later this year npower will be owned by e.on unless it's sold as a going concern.

Wasn't there Sainsbury's mobile a few years ago?Personaly I would avoid them.Ebico went down hill after the SSE collapse. In this case it could just be another failure in the future.

Today's announcement follows hundreds of thousands of former Sainsbury's Energy customers, who joined the firm before 5 February 2019, being moved to British Gas.

They couldn't afford the publicity of all those smart meters' going dumb at the same time.
