A letter dated from 14 Feb stating the FOS adjudicator had reached a decision with the Halifax they would refund from 1997 to present day.
No correspondence via mail , only from phone call from Halifax stating I would be informed by 26 April of redress. I called Halifax PPI this morning and nothing on the system they tell me but would be informed by said date. So I get a few days for them to post info on redress .. ain't gonna happen is it.

You've lived wihout it this long, a few more days isn't going to hurt.
They pay you the interest up until the redress date so it's making you more money.

Just an update. Still no contact from Halifax so contacted FOS for advice. Replied that the Halifax state they have no specific timeframe to reimburse redress.

Think happy thoughts, they're still adding 8% simple interest per day.
