Nope, still counts as a business to business transaction - you bought them for use in your business to supply to your customers (even if not sold separately, they are still part of your service), and consumer protections don't apply to this.
You'll need to investigate how to start proceedings to recover the cost of the faulty parts
Thank you for explaining this to me. I will take this all on board for the future.0 -
Your response is not helpful. I am new to all this, hence asking for help. Maybe you need to take the chip off your shoulder and become more of a helpful member of the forum, rather than judgemental and quite nasty.
Well you have been running your business for at least 2 years so you really should be well versed in all the rules and regulations relevant to your business by now.
You may not like my post but you really need to understand consumer rights and business rights when running a business otherwise your going to end up ripping customers off or losing out yourself.
You thought that because you didn't make a profit on items you sold that you didn't actually sell them. Come on if your going to make silly statements like that then you have to expect people to take the mick a bit :rotfl:0 -

Don't judge people because you feel you know everything. You don't. I was asking for advice, not to be laughed at or ridiculed. You clearly are a keyboard warrior, happier to be unhelpful and nasty, than constructive.0 -

I certainly don't know everything (far from it) but in my job i make sure i know everything that i need to know to carry it out to a high standard.
You are running a business and have gaps in the knowledge that is required to run it well. This is pretty serious but you can't seem to accept this.
In my first post i explained to you why it was still a B2B transaction which is useful to you but you just didn't like the way i told you. In my second post i said you need to understand business rights and consumer rights which is useful, are your saying you disagree with this?
Yes i had a little joke because you made a silly statement but nothing about it was nasty.
You seem to have just resorted to calling me names such as "unhelpful", "nasty" and a "keyboard warrior" which is very ironic considering i haven't insulted you personally once.
Your business can't be doing very well if you are unable to interact with people without resorting to name calling. :rotfl:0
