How big is your garden ?0

It was £15 front and back a couple of years ago. Moderate size garden; I'm not sure if there were edges to strim.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

I have cut 2 lawns today, £10 each. I only do it for a side job, I think £15 would be reasonable for a large lawn. A small lawn could be less than £10, if done every two weeks. But a gardener may think otherwise.
I don't collect the grass, because it wasn't that long, so its quicker. The price does depend on the quality, do you want the weeds cutting out, edges, is it a regular cut ....0 -
This is a money saving forum, why not just do it yourself, you'll get exercise and save yourself money too.0

Not everyone has the time! I know as a single dad and business owner that I certainly dont! Thats why my grass is the plastic variety :rotfl:0

I pay £13 every 2 weeks to mow a fairly small back lawn, trim the edges and do the weeding. Doesn’t take my guy very long but he does a good job and is reliable.
He cuts the hedges and tidies shrubs etc for me when required.
I used to do it myself but didn’t enjoy it. I have back problems which prevent me doing it now. My DH hates gardening and refuses to do it. Hence we pay someone else to do it!0 -
My dad has an average lawn cut and hedges trimmed every 3 weeks in summer for £20 a time.0

Don't think gardeners like to be paid in dollars . . . in the UK

I pay £25 for front and back, in Surrey.
Back is long and skinny, front is just a bit either side.
Occasionally he does the hedges too as an extra.
He does a lovely job, strims & gathers.0
